Rory, aka A Guy Called Bloke has tagged me with this Weekly Song Challenge, which was created by Laura Venturini.  Thank you, Rory for this fun challenge, as you know I love music.

Guidelines

The challenge is to post three song videos:

A song by a band you think is underrated.

A Song that gets on your nerves.

A song by a Solo Artist who’s first name begins with a K.

Tag two people to participate!

Underrated….

Pearl Jam’s website keeps a running tally on how many times they have performed songs, theirs and others’.  The range varies widely, with the least played being once (several of them) and the most being 833 times (!!!) (Even Flow), with “Alive” a fairly close second with 763.  There are several beautiful PJ songs that get short shrift in live performance.  One of them is called, “Dead Man,” which they’ve only done live 8 times.  For some reason the youtube won’t open in the post but you can see it out on youtube.

On My Nerves!!

The summer when this song was saturating the airwaves, we were on our day sailer, anchored near shore, just trying to enjoy a beautiful summer day.  Some creeps anchored a short distance away and played this song on repeat.  I’ve hated it ever since.

K

My girl, k.d. lang, has one of the most alluring female singer voices out there.  First heard this song on an animal rights compilation disc (Tame Yourself) many moons ago.  I’ve loved it ever since.

For my two tags l choose the following bloggers who love music!

  1. Hey Li, some great choices in there – it’s a shame about the Lady Gaga track, but in all honesty if l had to listen to it on repeat where you were, l may have tried to drown my sorrows in the pond! i like it, bit not on repeat 🙂
