The sun’s rays warmed the solar cell roofing shingles on the house, which juiced up my Powerwall battery storage device today. Not only that, but the winds in the area had the windmill churning its fair share of electricity. There’s no question that if I had two Powerwalls both would be fully charged today.
I think about the pipe-layers on the road about a mile down, burying yellow pipes for natural gas that they will obtain from fracking. I could hook up to it and pay for it over a long period of time. I took another choice that costs about the same but uses nature that doesn’t hurt Mother Earth.
A question you – yes, you – need to ask yourself is, if you had to, would you have the means to go off grid? It’s time to get real. I beg you to spend 5 minutes of your time thinking about how you might be able to do it. Mother Earth is counting on us.
OK the font is messed up and no idea why. Anyway, this is a WORK OF FICTION with elements of non-fiction. I don’t have solar roofing tiles or a windmill or a Powerwall to store electric power from solar and wind energy — but I wish I did!
