dVerse — OLN and OctPoWriMo2019 Day 31 — Epitaphs

I decided to go against the prompt for OctPoWriMo and chose to write a few epitaphs for dVerse.

Linda is today’s host of dVerse‘ Open Link Night (OLN).  Linda says:

I am looking forward to some lovely, wicked and delightful poems- your choice.

Morgan Dragonwillow (and her inspirational co-hosts, Punam, Maria, Esther, and Michele) is the host of OctPoWriMo.  I would like to thank every one of them for making the time and effort to provide prompts for this month.  Thank you also to every person who wrote for this lovely October of poetry.  I’ve enjoyed the reading very much.

I created the meme epitaphs using graphics found on the internet:

      1. I think the Mexican custom may have been older but Catholicism matched it. A Mexican friend here showed the local school how the ancient ceremony is performed. And very positive too about honouring and remembering your own ancestors.

  1. Love your epitaphs over odes:

    Here lies Donald J. Trump;
    Always a great Liar, he was also
    a horrid President, husband, & father,
    He won’t be missed.

  2. Loving the multiple mediums you used, as well as the epitaph for He Who Shall Not Be Named But Hopefully Soon Impeached. 🙂

    Clever and ghoulishly fun. 😉
