#FF — “OK, Boss”

She followed the bright blue dot through dingy streets until the girl entered, “Down Island Traders.” Lara’s eyes moved to the upstairs windows where back-lit shadows mingled. Should she wait? Did Leon have time for her to wait?

She walked down the alley at the side of the building, found the back door unlocked, and went in. Slinking her way to the front, she heard Leon’s voice. Desperate, she flung the door open, .45 loaded in her hand.

Jaws dropped and hands reached for lapels.

Hold it guys, this is my wife,” said Leon.

OK, Boss,” they mumbled.

  1. Dear Lisa,

I have to wonder why she’s packing a .45 and why her husband isn’t at all rattled at having it pointed at him. Guess it’s business as usual in the Mob. 😉 You left me wanting to know more.
