#FF — “OK, Boss”

PHOTO PROMPT © Rochelle Wisoff-Fields

She followed the bright blue dot through dingy streets until the girl entered, “Down Island Traders.” Lara’s eyes moved to the upstairs windows where back-lit shadows mingled. Should she wait? Did Leon have time for her to wait?

She walked down the alley at the side of the building, found the back door unlocked, and went in. Slinking her way to the front, she heard Leon’s voice. Desperate, she flung the door open, .45 loaded in her hand.

Jaws dropped and hands reached for lapels.

Hold it guys, this is my wife,” said Leon.

OK, Boss,” they mumbled.

This is the conclusion to the story I started last week. If you didn’t see last week’s story, you can find it here.

I’m not sure what Lara is up to: saving her husband or catching him in flagrante?

  5. If she possesses a .45, I guess she would be the type of girl to be prepared for anything. 🙂 Intriguing story Lisa. Liked it a lot 🙂

  7. Dear Lisa,

I have to wonder why she’s packing a .45 and why her husband isn’t at all rattled at having it pointed at him. Guess it’s business as usual in the Mob. 😉 You left me wanting to know more.

    Shalom,

    Rochelle

A .45 would not be my first choice. But to each her own. Hope the safety is on and she knows how to use it. Good finish.

I’ve heard that before. Murakami talks about it quite a bit in one of his books. Maybe a part 3 will be needed? We’ll see if next week’s image can accommodate another chapter 🙂

Leon nearly learnt the hard way that you never make a lady wait. Especially when she carries a .45 on her.
