The holy man was having a bad day. All he wanted to do was sit under the shade tree in the cool, sipping jasmine mint iced tea, but a crowd had gathered, all clamoring for advice on their earthly problems. Having learned through his own travels and issues as he became wise, he understood that part of one’s obligation was to share wisdom with those who wanted and needed it.

One by one they approached, and one by one, he responded.

Finally, the last person stepped up, holding a mirror.

Pointing the mirror at the holy man, he said, “What do you see?”

  1. Nice story Jade

Just to give some knowledge on the picture. It looks like Hindu gods and the step arrangement looks like how it is arranged during the festival of navarathri called ‘golu’ in south India.

    1. It could also be a museum exhibit considering there are some numbers near each deity

Ah, thank you, I should have known that the guy sitting wasn’t Buddha, but he sure looks like Buddha! Do you know who that figure is? I can change the name in the story.

Namy, I edited the story to make it generic. It’s better that way and not inaccurate anymore :)
