50 Word Thursday — Yoga Rocks!

So here is this weeks picture:

And here are the words: “It was difficult, on the whole, to know how reliable they might be” – Postern of Fate by Agatha Christie.

Billie Jo saw the 2-for-1 coupons for Egyptian yoga in the kiosk at the laundromat and grabbed one. As her clothes dried, she read, “First Week Free, No limit on number of sessions!” She also saw that they opened early and closed late. She called her friend, Luann, and asked her if she wanted to check it out that evening. Luann agreed and soon they were walking up the steps of a very posh-looking building downtown.

The studio was very large and could hold at least 100 people. There were at least 50 congregating around their mats, waiting for class to begin. Billie Jo and Luann each grabbed a mat from the ones piled in the corner and set them up front so they could see.

The instructor was so good, she put both beginners at ease. They returned two more nights that week. Both paid for a month at the no-contract studio. Six months later, both were able to do the Sphinx pose just like the statues!

When friends asked about yoga, both women answered, “It was difficult, on the whole, to know how reliable they might be,” but we love our instructor, our studio, and doing yoga!
