Well… we have crossed the pleasant ambience of spring and walked into a sultry summer in this part of the world. So guys, warm up to new ideas in Week 84. I see this space as one for collective evolution.

There is no restriction on the length or format of the piece. It can be a poem, story, anecdote, memory, picture, diary, thoughts, essay — as long as it reflects your innermost thoughts on the subject. Write a long post, or be succinct in a short one.

 

I’ve decided to write two diamante form poems.  They were inspired by the photo, the word prompts, and some very bad news I received today. I’m trying to cope by pouring it on the page.

Intimacy
intricate, meticulous
warming, nourishing, interweaving
hopeful, trusting, violated, mistrusting
draining, disappointing, hurting
detached, wary
alienation

wholeness
warmth, healthy
affirming, sustaining, growing
interwoven, reciprocal, jumbled, cracked
disturbing, triggering, confusing
cold, lonely
incomplete
