Again, I am choosing to highlight a man I consider to be the “Master of Dreams,” Carl Gustav Jung. I’m also going to look to find quotes on dreams from one of his most avid followers, Clarissa Pinkola-Estes. Richa, dreams are a perfect prompt for me, you may even say a serendipitous one, as I’m in part 2 of a “dream group” that is wrapping up next week, but happily some of us want to continue meeting and so it will continue. The lady who leads our group is a retired Jungian psychoanalyst who just moved back into the area and is passionate about the subject. Have you ever heard the expression, when the student is ready, the teacher will arrive? Well, I’m ready! Each of these quotes, I deeply believe are true. Thank you for your perfect prompt.

“Like night dreams, stories often use symbolic language, therefore bypassing the ego and persona, and traveling straight to the spirit and soul who listen for the ancient and universal instructions embedded there. Because of this process, stories can teach, correct errors, lighten the heart and the darkness, provide psychic shelter, assist transformation and heal wounds.”
Richa is the host of Freedom of Expression Challenge. Richa says:
Every Thursday, I will pick up a “prompt word” to be acted upon by y’all. You are free to go wild with your imagination and interpret the “prompt” in any way that you like – photo, prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, quotes, articles or drawing/painting – whatever works for you! In short, it’s all about you being the BOSS and choosing the best way possible to express and depict your understanding of the prompt and go berserk!
