Summer’s new romance —
dove eyes twinkle with desire
from endless kisses.
Under umbrella,
beach shadow creates a cave
of hidden fumblings.
Summer love, where sand
is wet with longing under
the big blue sky.
School’s out for summer
young lovers swoon, toes glisten
with honey moon’s kiss.
Roses’ sweetness competes
with summer’s musk as lovers
kiss in the garden.
Lily petals open
In summer season’s heat
Pistils, stamens hum.
He says forever
they frolic through days and nights —
but summer ends.
