Soul Paths
Paths oft seem traveled as they choose
May lead to deep eddies, black flows
Question rise, whom shall I accuse?
Purpled reigns of soul’s blue monsoon
Sunlight dims as bruised darkness grows
Paths oft seem traveled as they choose
Narcissist’s gaze in mirrored pools
Can’t tease real from misted shadows
Question begs, whom shall I accuse?
Retrospect’s who’s wise, who are fools?
Beer goggle glasses, truth transposed
Paths oft seem traveled as they choose
Plums of regret serve to confuse
Scent of decay misjudged for rose
Question cries, whom shall I accuse?
Fate? Choiced ripples? Intricate ruse?
Unique souls of such paths composed.
Paths must be traveled as they choose
Question fades, none can be accused.

As a stealer of poetry meanings, can I ask a question?
Purpled reigns of soul’s blue monsoon
I don’t understand what this means – I like the sound of it, but I don’t understand. Do you have a second or six to clarify for me? Thank you – because I love purple and blue together in a soul moment.

What I thought as I wrote it was purple for domestic violence, where it can generate a lot of tears, then depression (bruised darkness in the next line) that grows. It may be perceived otherwise by the reader.
