JP Hoe is a Manitoba, Canada musician that has a voice that sings melodies that I would follow to the ends of the earth. How he is not better known is a true mystery to me.
Discography:
The Dear John Letters (2008)
Mannequin (2012)
Hideaway (Deluxe) (2015)
Brighten Up The Night (2020)
Botanicals (2022)
He also did a cover of “All the Young Dudes” that is Out of This World. I would give one of my eye teeth to find it again!!!!
Learn more about JP Hoe at his official website here.
Not easy to find info on JP Hoe! I was forced to do a screen shot of the Spotify bio, which I think is a review of , “Out of the Darkness,” off the Botanicals album.

Glyn Wilton is the host of Mixed Music Bag. Glyn says the theme is now groups or soloists beginning with the letters G or H

Like it! I’ve also listened to JP Hoe’s new single and sampled a couple of other tunes from “The Dear John Letters”. Good stuff!

Wow, I see that, Max. I’ve been listening to that whole CD in the car for the last week or so. It’s a long one, with 17 songs. I keep repeating the first 6. Every listen makes me like it more. Hoping his new album is as good as this one.

I guess that is what it is…at least that is my feeling on it. I love that style of music…kinda like the Band in a way…but of course different.

I’d quite like to hear his “All The Young Dudes” cover myself

I’ve heard of him, but don’t know that I’ve heard his music before. I like it. Another name to look for at the library. (K)

He hasn’t caught on in the US. I think I first saw him at myspace (found a lot of good music there before I left it.) fingers crossed your library has some of his music. You don’t do spotify do you?
