POPO2022 day 4 — peppers

it is the season
pepper fruits begin to bloom
hottest time of the year

it is the season
when sun brightens, greens deepen
the bees get heavy

pepper fruits bloom
yellow cautions and red flags
bananas and ghosts

hottest time of the year
white blossoms bursting fireworks
in summer’s swelter

        I can! I used to grow tomatoes and chilies/ peppers in pots. I could garden. It was an easy crop and was very satisfying too.

    We had decorative pepper plants and they were really cool. The kept coming up for 3 more years and now I’ll have to get some more.
