Arnica started from seed that I collected up in Shelby in the fall and started indoors. This is a very healthy plant that loves where it is at.

blue false indigo directly seeded. got a nice packet of a couple dozen seeds from the library seed bank. these are the ones i planted in the ground. i planted some in a big pot also. it’s a perennial I’ve never grown before but it looks pretty in google pics.
Transplanted the chamomile from its rootbound pot into the ground a few days ago. So hot and dry out there it hasn’t fully recovered since the transplant.
Chives in a hen planter someone bought me many moons ago. Also the stone frog that the squirrels and chipmunks like to rest on.
all 4 still living dawn redwood. They are still barely hanging on. Please live!

I decided against filling with dirt this season and will keep the pots in there. Lots of different things growing. To the left are those blue false indigo seedlings.

See the diff between these 3 sets of tomato plants? All planted at the same time. The container makes the difference. Never again will I plant this many. What was I thinking!?

Not sure the name of these but they look like wild geranium. They come back every year and they are gorgeous.

All looks very nice, Lisa. Hope the smoke situation in your area is better today. It was better here in the morning but rapidly deteriorated in the afternoon. The sky literally looked yellowish – like you picture some post-apocalyptic scenery!
