Nice poem and I love that Beatles tune. In our neck of the woods, we’ve kind of had the opposite problem – too much rain! I just read that 2023 is the 22nd wettest summer on record in New Jersey. It follows the 12th driest July last last. They had to count them all! :-)

When I read the stats in NJ, I read imbalance. Mother Nature is doing her best, but with the way she is under attack, she is faltering :(

I certainly don’t like to proclaim doomsday scenarios, but we just had another tornado warning in New Jersey. When we moved here some 15 years ago, this was unheard of. While extreme weather events have been part of rhe planet’s history, the increased frequency of such extreme patterns clearly isn’t normal.
