windows and doors. Puffs of coolness
after weeks-long heat waves give false hope.
They say the smoke from the fires in Canada
are headed this way.

Temperatures definitely have decreased significantly in my area. And while I prefer cool over hot nights for sleeping, unfortunately, it appears the sudden change is partly to blame for a cold I’m currently battling. The good news is a COVID test came back negative.
It’s incredible the Canadian wildfires are still going on? The scale of destruction must be immense!

Thanks, Lisa, yeah, COVID would have sucked even more. That said, given there are so many other viruses out there, who knows, it could still be a virus. The good news is I’m feeling better than last night. It’ll have to run its course.
