This week’s FFF is music, which has been the usual for awhile. This tune, however, is a little mysterious. I found it on SRR, but all I could find on it was the blurb on Spotify. Neither was it available via YouTube, so I was forced to create a playlist with just that song on it. I could have said fuggettabottit and chose another song but I like this one so well. Definitely has a Steve Miller vibe to it. If anyone knows anything more about this song or this artist, please let me know in the comments.
The composer is listed as Scott Laurance Halvorsen.

Max, I added the link to the Nashville studio where it was made. If you guys decide to record, maybe this is the place? The production in this sounds excellent, don’t you think? Yes on Ramones and also maybe a touch of Joe Walsh?

Great song – a bit of a racy cover! :-)
Based on what I can see, my guess is releasing music as Halvorsongs is more of a side project of Scott Halvorson and Mark Riddick, who each have the own music production companies.
It looks like “Smile For Me (Angel Eyes) is only their second single under the Halvorsongs moniker after “Angel By My Side”, which came out in May 2023. They seem to have an angel theme going! :-)
That said, “Angel By My Side” sounds good as well.

Thanks, Lisa, I should have checked the article. An upcoming album sounds promising. Assuming the music is going to be similar to the two singles, I hope I’ll catch that album as part of my weekly new music review! :-)
