to a bee

a meadow,
dripping dew;
drenched petals
field to harvest.
tender wildflower
engorge in season

You have reached a quiet bamboo grove, where you will find an eclectic mix of nature, music, writing, and other creative arts. Tao-Talk is curated by a philosophical daoist who has thrown the net away.
When encountering a large, dewy flower that must be exactly what it seems to the tiny bee. Lovely poem, Lisa.

Steve, there is no doubt about it. Thank you. On an aside, I got the 801 CD in the mail yesterday. Really good music! After listening through it once, it feels like about as close to prog rock as it can get without going over the edge.

You’re welcome, Lisa.
I’m so glad you like the CD! Pretty marvellous production for the period. It’s a bit of shame more people don’t know of it, but it was such a short and rather obscure project, not in the mainstream at all. It does feel close to prog rock, I’d agree.
The iTunes version was a two “disc” set with the second “side” being a rehearsal version of the live setlist. Does the CD have that?

Well if we keep sharing it and it ripples out, more people will know of it. This CD looks like a reprint by EG Records Ltd. Only the album on one disc, unfortunately.

Ah, well, the live set is remarkably similar to the rehearsal in terms of recording quality, pretty amazing for a live take in the mid-70s.

I love considering the point of view of the bee, Lisa. They most definitely love that kind of view. 🐝

I love watching those busy bees and I’m blessed to see many native ones around here and at my favourite waterfall only 20 mins drive from here :)

waterfall that close is a blessing. Can you jump in the water there?

sure can but we are in autumn now … went the other day and it was totally gushing after all our rainfall :) May add a bit of that into my next vid, in no rush roos are still skyrocketing.

I love this, Lisa. Of course a large flower must be an incredible place to discover for a tiny bee…
