Randy, I’m just about to start S5. I didn’t even know they had it on netflix! I’ve been borrowing it a season at a time from the library.

I know often in Canada we often don’t get access to the same shows but I’d imagine you can get it. Even though it’s an American show, It was filmed in Canada so here it helps Netflix fill the Canadian content requirements.

Is it all filmed in Canada? It’s set in Santa Barbara, CA and I’m sure that some of it was shot there? I learned from Dale about the Canadian content requirements. Something about Indigenous-created also?

My understanding that the only filmed exterior locations and overhead shots, otherwise all the sets and scenes were filmed in the Vancouver area. I really don’t completely understand the content rules but many American shows qualify I guess because they are filmed in Canada and use actors for smaller parts as well. Often my American friends are surprised how much is filmed in Canada. Currently The Boys and Ghosts, these I know of like Suits, Riverdale, half of Goodwill Hunting, The Last of Us and probably dozens more.

Well you guys have your fair share of detective shows, so you’re all set. You could always do like the US does, rip off your series and make American versions (e.g. Shameless and The Office.)
