The following quote was on a postcard I received in the mail today as part of POPO2024. Since I hadn’t put a Friday Favorite together, the quote is it. Read it and really think about it. Then allow yourself to feel it. Would love to hear your impressions.

I agree 💯, Lisa. Noice blurs our vision.

To make the eye quiet…that changes everything. And then the mind, too. You can listen with the eye as well as see. (K)

I take it as when you witness or feel something so joyful it can render you quiet….but I could be completely wrong.

Ok…one of those subjective quotes. BTW…how do you like the Kinks so far? I love that we are not just looking at Lola, You Really Got Me etc…

I’m really liking the selections, the write-ups, and the tasty tidbits each writer has either dug up or hypothesized about. I know I like their music, but reading these shows their depth. This is a band I’d really like to have the discography of.

I think the same thing…I was so surprised on the variety….Me also…the whole discography.

Max, perhaps like a spiritual experience in the overwhelming beauty of nature? Wordsworth did a lot of walking tours.

The quote signifies how our perspective about life can change if we pay attention to the power of harmony around us. Even the experience of joy holds that power of changing us.

I like what you see, Balroop. I think it is about giving oneself permission to do it also.

Ah, Wordsworth. What a great name for a poet, huh?
Also, fantastic portrait. What a great dresser he was! :)
