Doodads from December

01 christmas cactus 20241121_115156Christmas Cactus in bloom at the place where I get massages.

You’ve probably noticed I haven’t gotten back into the swing of things since taking a blogging break in November.  It is what it is for now.  The pics being shared today were all taken in December.  Most of the pics are of the indoor miniature village at fmg.  I wrote more about it last year here.

In the evening the village really comes to life. The kids love it. They have one train on an overhead track and little working cars in other sections which they are fascinated by.

Those miniatures are superb; what fun to look at them.

Sometimes it takes a while for the groove to come back, though it seems like you’ve been pretty active and creating.

Yes, seeing how natural substances build architecture is pretty awesome. I’m staying busy just more away from blogging.

I imagine the little people (real little to fit into them) come out and enjoy their village after the tourists leave.

I’m a tad behind too and I didn’t plan any breaks. But it is that time of the year for distractions. We had an impropdu dinner an cards at friends last eve. So I didn’t get much done yesterday either. But it was a good day.

Fun pictures. Thanks for sharing them.

Christian, I love them also. I’d love to go to the place that creates them and do an internship. My kind of craftwork. Thanks for dropping in during your hiatus, Christian. Nice to “see” you :)

Glad you like them Miriam. Close up they are even more amazing. We were talking about the windows and my son said they are not made of glass but some kind of resin.

I had trouble keeping them alive until I found “mosquito bits” which keeps fungus gnats away from them. Now I have some small ones that need to be put in one bigger pot.
