Thanks for bringing additional light to this. The boarding schools and the WW II concentration camps (we call them “internment camps” to make them sound better – but we stole their property, forced them to work in poor conditions; though at least we didn’t exterminate them in gas chambers) for Japanese-Americans are two of the more sordid but under-taught chapters in US history.
