I’ve had these pics for awhile but haven’t had time to post them. It is the first post in a new feature. It will be posted when I find stuff like this.
A few months ago, the fish in the aquarium looked like they were getting some kind of fungus on their fins. First I tried the general cure-all that has worked in the past, without success. Then I tried a target medicine for fin fungus. It looked like it was trying to clear up but was still there by the end of the course of the meds. I went to the pet store and looked around and found this:

I had to read everything on the bottle to make sure I knew what it was and how to dose the tank. Reading everything on the bottle, I noticed something.

I decided to give it to the fish and it did clear up the fungus on them, thankfully. I was out of options.
Do you see anything fishy?

Hey Lisa. Find it hard to read that bottle I’m afraid.

On the front it says, “All Natural.” The back is full of warnings about how dangerous and cancer-causing it is.

You know how the food industry promotes “all natural”? But you look at what’s in it, and…

Do you mean that, unlike ivermectin, I can’t use it to treat COVID-19?;)

If you mean the chemical that has been determined to cause cancer, it is a naturally-occurring substance in essential oils.

Maybe it’s just me. “All Natural,” and “Extracted from West Indian Bay Trees” seems pretty harmless, but flip the bottle over…

Asbestos is “all natural”, too.

Even natural stuff can be risky to those using it, goodness knows how the fish survive it.

I know. With the new and improved WP editing, I don’t know how to enlarge images and have them still be clear.

No, not sure what they meant? Like Sirens, drawing men to their deaths? I remember watching a really scary show about a guy who imprisoned a mermaid.

Well, those sirens were deadly, but not really mermaids, I don’t think.
No, I always believed that a Sailor who saw a mermaid would always get back to his home port safely.
I can’t quote a source, but maybe it’s something I picked up in boot camp?
