Heads Up!
Blinding light, then nothingness. Awakened, telestrated, mouthpiece of the gods.
Hear us!
Life’s a free ticket to ride yahtzee roll. Doesn’t mean you should ghost your way through. Cranium and seek clues to our strategy. You’re on a battleship against darkness, surrounded by sharks. Our monopoly on Fate may be neutralized. Recognize the bull. Sorry, but there is no way to shatter it without risk. Be not robot, mind sanitized into impotence. Be not panda, fuzzy, rigid, and endangered.
Pull yourself out of the near-boiling soup pot.
Step away from our simulation and scatter.
We’re hungry cosmic bears. Stop feeding us!
[101 words]
Notes: I made a list of most of the games and other objects I noticed in the image and started it from there. I did not know what telestrations meant and looked it up in a dictionary, where I found the following:
A telestrator is a device that allows its operator to draw a freehand sketch over a moving or still video image. Also known as a video marker, this device is often used in sports and weather broadcasts to diagram and analyze sports plays or incoming weather patterns. The user typically draws with a finger, stylus or pen on a touchscreen or graphics tablet. From the touchscreen or the tablet, the drawing signal is communicated to the telestrator, which overlays the video image with the drawing and outputs the combined signal for broadcast or display.
This gave me some direction.
I became a transmitter for this one. I pray we heed the advice!

Rochelle Wisoff-Fields is the host of Friday Fictioneers.

What an interesting journey you have taken us on today, part game part nightmare, and I am not at all sure which part won out!

It’s all telestration’s fault ;)

This was an empowering entry. I almost stood up to cheer when I got to this part: “Be not robot, mind sanitized into impotence…”
I also liked the many connections to the photo items and enjoyed the mini lesson in telestrations.

That’s funny! We have Telestrations. It’s basically “The Telephone Game” except that you do drawings instead of whispering in someone’s ear. My younger kid loves it!

I bet that would be a fun game to play. When my granddaughter gets a little older I can get it for her.

Isn’t it interesting how we both chose to use the names of the games and both came up with such different pieces? It shows how creative the HUMAN mind is!
