Mid-June, while doing a plant check around the yard, I found Miss Toad hunkered down amongst the new prickly pear cacti. She stayed there for a number of days, but now she is gone. I think she chose a dangerous but safe place to rest. I wonder where she is now?

Very cool to see the toad! I haven’t seen one in years. :)

I was pleasantly surprised, Barbara. She tucked herself right into that spot.

We had a Cuban Tree Frog infestation a year or two ago and they were so repulsive. Unfortunately, now I can’t even stand frogs or toads and I have them as tattoos! At least my tattoos don’t croak in the middle of the night!

LOL on the croaking (not) tattoos :) The frogs get loud way out back but nothing close to the house.

Lisa, there were so many frogs that more than once I went out in the morning and the entire surface of our inground pool was all eggs! It was disgusting! When I finally started having to kill them at first I would go out and no exaggeration probably killed about 75 to 100 every few days.
