The Oracle Speaks — Red is My Rain

Red is My Rain

You, woman,
are a pink rock,
shadowed above,
shot still with man’s urges;
he who plays beauty
as drunk lazy want.

Sweet on smooth skin,
he fiddles deliriously,
mad as boiled sea.

Blue diamond smells time.
She storms less like lust
but sees how like wax the suit,
a purple lie of sordid rust.

The Oracle Speaks here.

    I really enjoyed this ensemble- the poetry and the complimentary song choice was a very tidy package. Excellent.

      Steve, many thanks to you. I was going to add an HD version of PG’s original but I liked this trio singing and representing.

        My pleasure, Lisa. Good call on the video choice. I’d not seen that one before. An excellent collaboration.
