POPO 2025 — Day 8 — cut loose

cut loose

When I cut amazon
subscribe & save subscriptions
loose I wondered if I’d survive
without coco de bebida,
big bags of pistachios,
chocolate orange slices for Christmas gifts,
and Puff box dozens for my dragon nose.
I have, and local grocers
and I are becoming reacquainted
in a significant way.
The only things I miss are cheap
bags of bulk organic teas.

Now you have me thinking about those chocolate orange slices for Christmas, but for me …not for any gifts! 😁

You are braver than I am- The transportation costs on goods to Alaska are steep- so anymore I almost cannot afford to buy local.

I rarely use Amazon any more, and I never did for food items. One big problem is that retailers are dying, like for instance hardware stores. There are very few left in my neighborhood. If you do not live in a city, or near one, I imagine there are many things you can’t buy locally at all. (K )

As much as it costs to own a car and if you live in the boonies, free delivery makes sense.
