POPO 2025 — Day 13 — Flag Day 2025

Flag Day 2025

Peaceful assembly carried
the day in America.
Small town folks came out
in big numbers, energizing
each other. We are not alone.

Trained men on trained horses
in large cities trodding on freedom
breeding only contempt
for a small man, orange-stained,
straining on a gold throne.

Summed things up in a tiddy bow. A travesty what an orange whitewash is being done to a famous government building… while elder and special needs care funding gets slashed.

Jules, I had an epiphany this morning about what motivates him. He wants to be remembered. He doesn’t care what for. His family hates him, he considers his followers shills, and the rest of us laugh at him. He had his soul evacuated young, and he will do anything to be remembered.

Remembered in negative light… I suppose for ‘him’ is better than nothing.

It can’t be otherwise for him at this point. I’m sure you’re right.
