Leonardo’s Eyes
Watching Ken Burns’ doc
on DaVinci felt a little like
having a magician’s secrets
revealed; ahas on how
he created light on canvas,
bringing people, places,
things to life.
As I look outside this morning,
watching cloud veils fall and shift
aside for sun, I see
through Leonardo’s eyes.
This is a card I sent to a friend/blogmate as part of the POPO festival.

His documentaries are so well done!

Yes, they are, and you’ve probably noticed that his daughter and son in-law are creating them with him now. I love the idea that they will continue what Ken started: quality documentary series.

A great set of eyes to utilize, Lisa. Ken is a master at his craft…as well as Leonardo.

Max, thank you. I agree on Burns. He’s The Maestro of Doc Series.

He had the best Baseball doc I’ve ever seen.
