You have reached a quiet bamboo grove, where you will find an eclectic mix of nature, music, writing, and other creative arts. Tao-Talk is curated by a philosophical daoist who has thrown the net away.
Hehe. Cool. Only I’d have liked them to kill Frosty differently. More tenderly: like in front of a fireplace, maybe?
You’re funny. Thanks for sharing. xoxo
I think ice is worse than snow. You can’t get any traction on ice and brakes don’t work once you get going. I literally almost cashed in the chips last week. Slid right through a very high traffic intersection where the cars go fast. Thankfully there was no traffic at the moment or…
Ice you just can’t drive on…That is scary! I’m glad there wasn’t much traffic either.
I was going across a bridge and hit ice and spun completely around twice going 50 a few years ago…lucked up and the car caught and I went straight ahead like I planned it. I was like a movie. lol…I was lucky
Thanks on the photos, Christian. I scoured the interhood for new images and picked my faves. I also noticed giphy has a bunch of images and you can create your own captions. I will probably try that next year :) Thank you. How’s the weather there?
We were spared from the recent snow. My music friend Mike, who is about 50 miles to the north, got hammered. It’s amazing what a difference 50 miles can make!
Overall, I would say the weather is pretty normal for this time of the year. It’s supposed to get relatively mild during the second half of the week with daytime temperatures hitting the ’50s!
Good you got spared, Christian. I know that the weather can be very different here from in GR which is about 50 miles away. We get the lake effect, for good and bad ;) I think we are also getting some reprieve this week. Snow was melting again today. Not sure if it will get to the 50s, but above freezing anyway.
These are so funny, Lisa. And true. I’m not sure I can convince Mrs. B to invest in a flame thrower, but if we wind up with one of those Winters were we get 50-70 inches of snow, she might not enjoy driving our snow blower as much as she does. We average like 20-25 inches of snow a year, so using fire to clean it up would be considered excessive…but then again, it has to be quieter with fire, right?😁
They work for up here, too! ;-)

Glad you got a chuckle out of them. I agree with you on poor Frosty!

LOL. I’m imagining flamethrowing a tunnel through 70 inches of snow. Wouldn’t that be cool … er hot :)
