You have reached a quiet bamboo grove, where you will find an eclectic mix of nature, music, writing, and other creative arts. Tao-Talk is curated by a philosophical daoist who has thrown the net away.
Myriad are tales each tell; Nestled into life, they are Opened as a gift when right. Pearls that form from healing scars Question not when they arrive. Ready ears and eyes will note Sharing feels a privilege.
Tiptoes through a blossom field, Undulating shadows with Vibrant iridescent sweeps. Willing wafts of varied s(c)ents, Xylem seeds may cultivate Yeti soils of open ears; Zazen koans will ruminate.
Acquiesce to underground; Brook of wisdom gurgles there. Chapters of collective Braille Diagram our mystery; Engine chugs us all along. Free immerse in soul exchange: Giants walk the earth again.
Hear our voices harmonize In our choices to engage. Jump into community, Keeping melodies through time. Learn to thrive as one, sublime.
Laura is today’s host of dVerse’ Meeting the Bar Thursday prompt. Laura says: And for today’s MTB prompt we are becoming Abecedarians – that is taking the Latin script alphabet of consonants and vowels and writing an acrostic type poem(with more rules at the prompt post.)
You were brave to start halfway through the alphabet, Lisa, you made a great job of your abecedarian, and myriad is one of my favourite words! Your line ‘Tiptoes through a blossom field’ reminded me of ‘Tiptoe Through the Tulips’ by Tiny Tim. I like the rhythm too.
I was hoping someone would attempt the midway start to our abecedarius and you did – love how you matched the meter to each line so it reads like a collection of wisdoms or aphorisms
“Zazen koans will ruminate.” – how could you not resist that one!!
gorgeous Li :D so beautiful, so much imagery in it! I felt every line resonate! X

Wow you did a great job with the prompt. It’s tricky when you don’t go from A to Z. Interesting words for x, y and z.

It is really quite lovely to read aloud, Li, it has a Shakespearean lilt. Very nice.
