

This past Sunday some of the family went canoeing and some of us went to the Muskegon Museum of Art. One of the exhibits was about female animators. It included many drawings, colorings, and biographies by them. They had kiosks set up that showed some neat early ones, including “silhouette animation.”
They also set up a sectioned-off theater showing a series of old cartoons. I remember seeing this one before and falling in love with it, having no idea the animator was female:
