I am the oldest child. When I was 10, my parents divorced.When my oldest was 10,his dad and I divorced.It wasn’t planned that way,but in both cases it involvedunfortunate mismatches,mental health issues, and having had enough.My oldest remains childless.He’s escaped it — for now.Youngest’s child is now 3.She has 7 years to ground zero.
