Fandango’s One Word Challenge is trail. Word of the Day Challenge is camaradarie. These two words immediately made me think of the writing community here at Word Press that is such a joyous and supportive community. I love you! OK enough of the mushy.
Here’s another form that ends up being in a sort of diamond shape, but it’s because of the syllable count of the triquain. The Triquain, created by Shelley A. Cephas, is a poem with several creative variances and can be a rhyming or non-rhyming verse. The simpliest form is a poem made up of 7 lines with 3, 6, 9, 12, 9, 6, and 3 syllables in this order. It is always centered.
writers be
blessed camaraderie
hot on sweet creativity’s trail
pouring it from us, flowing joyous or travail
we share sincerely our offerings
our thoughts expressed sprout wings
and fly free
You are so talented at these different forms of poetry. 🙂 Wonderful !
