I was listening to this last night while coloring.  Harmony is from Doyle Bramhall’s

from wiki:

Rich Man is the fourth solo studio album by guitarist Doyle Bramhall II, his first since 2001 and his first since the breakup of his backing band Smokestack. It was released worldwide on September 30, 2016 on Concord Records. Bramhall wrote many of the album’s songs as a tribute to his late father who died in 2011.  His father was also a musician.

This album is the kind that grows on you the more you listen to it.  With Doyle’s rich and varied musical history and how good this album is, it mystifies me as to why he isn’t a lot better known.  He’s an excellent and soulful guitar player and you won’t hear a better voice.

You know how they have those “whole album playlists” on youtube now? Doyle may have put that out there himself just to get the exposure. When I looked up the info on wiki I was shocked at how long it had been since he had put something out there. I remember reading something about a messy divorce so maybe he was waiting for the alimony order to expire or something…

I figured if I’m listening to tunes while coloring why not share it in the blog. Glad you liked it.
