This morning’s listen was, “The Mountain” with Steve Earle and the Del McCoury Band. The Mountain is the 8th studio album by Steve Earle, released in 1999. The following cut is, “Leroy’s Dustbowl Blues”, written by Steve Earle. Definitely has a Bob Dylan feel to it. The musicianship on this album is superb. Emmylou Harris sings on at least one song.

Yes, I can definitely hear the Bob Dylan vibe to that song. Your coloring is beautiful. I find it relaxing when I take the time to do it! Happy Friday!!

The Mountain is one of my favorite Steve Earle albums. Too bad they didn’t get along- another album or two from Steve and Del and his band would have been great. Steve did bluegrass great. .. love your colouring!

Thanks Hans! I see Del and his band has put out quite a few, which I may end up checking out. I was reading up on them and see the mandolin and banjo players are one of the McCoury’s kids.

They have been around forever- they were veterans when Steve recorded with them 20 years ago- and are still going at it.
