I colored this last night while listening to U2’s “All That You Can’t Leave Behind”.  This ranks up there with “The Joshua Tree” and “Achtung Baby” in my favorites category.  Every song is a winner on here.  This one may be my favorite song.

Per wikipediaAll That You Can’t Leave Behind is the tenth studio album by Irish rock band U2. It was produced by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois, and was released on 30 October 2000 through Island Records and Interscope Records… All That You Can’t Leave Behind received favourable reviews from critics and sold over 12 million copies. The songs “Beautiful Day”, “Walk On”, “Elevation”, and “Stuck in a Moment You Can’t Get Out Of” were all successful singles. The record and its songs won seven Grammy Awards.

I would put the album on my Mount Rushmore of U2 albums- a good selection to listen to!

I was reading a little history on that album yesterday. It’s amazing how many hits came off of it, but not this song. My older son’s old girlfriend was named Grace, so the name stood out for me at one point…. the song itself is a work of beauty in melody and especially the lyrics. What would this world be without grace? None are worthy of heaven, but by grace ❤

You are right there isn’t a bad song on that album–and it was a welcome album when it came out to my ears after the worst album they ever made- the almost unlistenable in my opinion- Pop. They were back to being U2- a rock band.
