This Week’s Prompt:
“Fooling, fooling, too much fooling.” (Astrid Lindgren, Pippi Longstocking)
Jimmi dressed as a pirate for his college’s mid-winter Mardi Gras party. Funds raised would be donated to the local cat shelter for low-cost spay-neuters for strays. Jimmi volunteered to stand with his mouth open while people attempted to throw jelly beans into it. If they made 10 jelly beans in, he had to give the winner a kiss. Many of the players liked to tease Jimmi and pretended to throw the beans. Jimmi would laugh and say, “Fooling, fooling, too much fooling.” He gave out a lot of kisses, but he was able to raise $500 for the cats!
