Coloring Club Plus – 3/3/19

Mar 3

Mar 3a

A new coloring book and a quickie color.  I have a stack of movies from the library that are waiting for me.

Today’s selection is from Doyle Bramhall II’s, “Rich Man”.  I wrote about Doyle before.  Please check out my other post if you want to know more about this fabulous musician.

The song I chose from the album is, “New Faith”, which is perfect for a Sunday morning, and for life in general for that matter.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

So much life wasted in love and war
Never known how one leads to the other
Maybe it’s time for new faith to live by

Lay your hands down for a little while
Is it too late to change our mind?
Hearts are the same, telling and true
Just like the fear we hold on to
And faith has become our best excuse

The world turns toward the sun
Indifferent to the things we’ve done
Birds soar across the lines we’ve drawn
And they see bridges coming down

The road ahead lets go of the past
Start building on the good we have
Hearts are the same, hopeful and true
Ties lost inside the things we choose
When somehow faith got confused
Maybe it’s time

If you look you’ll find our differences lie
In between what was and what’s under your lies
If you look you’ll find our difference is life
And I wonder if we need new faith to live by

Why can’t it be
Why can’t we see the love in everyone, no
Why can’t we
Why can’t we see the love
Why can’t we see the love
Why can’t it be
Why can’t we see the love in everyone
Everyone
Why can’t we see

Glad you like it. It shows how good he is, unplugged. The guy is fantastic.

Unplugged is when you hear the real artist many times.

I’m glad. Sounds easy, but not so many times. There is another quote that should go hand in hand with it (forgot who said it) : “What other people think of you is none of your business.”

Yes, I really love that one too. Author Regina Brett said it. But there are variations (of course).
