This will be an interesting adventure as a first-timer at 2019 Blogging from A2Z April Challenge. My theme will be Signs and Symbols that cross all cultures, where an attempt will be made to find a myth or an archetype that corresponds to the symbol. I will include at least one hand-drawn image of the sign or symbol but will also plan on including other images as well. There may be a short work of fiction or a poem to go with it.
Up until today I wasn’t motivated to make the time investment for a month-long challenge. When I saw some of my favorite bloggers commit today, they inspired me to give it a try. Here’s a shout-out to Jim Adams at A Unique Title for Me and Paula Light at Light Motifs II!

On the news today they said that the guy arrested for those horrific murders was flashing a white supremacy sign in court today. that should be real interesting to see what you write and thanks for calling me your friend, because that made me feel good.

the taint of orange is spreading across the planet…. I was just doing some research on symbols. I have a book here that’s really good, with short entries, enough to start with a net search. Oh my, this is going to be fun. Thanks for looking forward to what I write. And you are welcome on calling you a friend :)

Hi there. As this is my first time through, I’m not sure what the voting is about? Will there be a blog with instructions on it? Once the signup is done, I do plan on printing out a list of participants and will make sure to check out your blog! Thanks for the comment on my theme. I’ve got “A” done so far and it’s been quite fun to pull it together.
