in a 6th floor brownstone loft,
elves on meth swarm a block.

Tiny chisels, tap tap tapping
feverish to finish.
The next door neighbors help
by singing loud bassbeat raps.

In their own worlds,
the sculptors and the rappers
are oblivious to the dignitaries
marching by below, in the parade.

The meth engined wee folk
are tap tap tapping
the terminal touches on
the figure’s face.
The rappers drop a few down.
Finis!

Finished all collapse
at the feet
of The Ice Queen.

Yes. I can see the connection between the mad frantic music and the drug fuelled creatures chiselling this amazing monstrous sculpture. A great combination. :-)
