Music Monday’s Challenge #2

Kristian is the host of Music Monday’s Challenge.  Kristian says:

Sabre Dance by Khachaturian.

In a bustling part of town,
in a 6th floor brownstone loft,
elves on meth swarm a block.
*
Tiny chisels, tap tap tapping
feverish to finish.
The next door neighbors help
by singing loud bassbeat raps.
*
In their own worlds,
the sculptors and the rappers
are oblivious to the dignitaries
marching by below, in the parade.
*
The meth engined wee folk
are tap tap tapping
the terminal touches on
the figure’s face.
The rappers drop a few down.
Finis!
*
Finished all collapse
at the feet
of The Ice Queen.

It’s the monster from the Alien series. Biologically designed for success but quite evil.

  4. Yes. I can see the connection between the mad frantic music and the drug fuelled creatures chiselling this amazing monstrous sculpture. A great combination. 🙂
