“Bernie! Bernie! Bernie! Bernie!,” chanted the crowd.
Bernie Sanders had just been declared the winner of the 2020 Presidential election in the United States. Two months earlier, the former POTUS had been impeached and then tried and convicted for a stream of federal crimes that lead to his being put on ice at Sing-Sing until he could be transferred to the federal pen. Three consecutive life sentences, no possibility of parole. Pents [sic] didn’t take long turning the White House into a giant revivalist tent. We the People were so ready for change, Bernie won by a landslide.
Bernie said his first act as POTUS was to wash the stench off of the label. He planned on doing this through nourishing a collaborative spirit with every man, woman, and child in the US. Think of a giant skein of yarn being passed from person to person, community to community, state to state, and then nation to nation. Bernie believes in his dreams, and with the help of us all working together, I believe the dream can come true — for ALL OF US.

I left facebook because of the polarization of friends and family into different political camps. I don’t want politics blowing up in WP. I don’t see you and I having probs as long as we don’t talk about it. I’m just trying to say I don’t want political views to interfere with the music appreciation between you and I. How is that for being diplomatic?

That all sounds fine. I don’t see why people don’t respect others beliefs or whatever– and politics isn’t fun to talk about anyway. I like to mention past presidents and stuff but the current situations- the past 20 years or so- are much too current and depressing to even get into!

My daughter went to see him speak at the University at Buffalo in 2016. She just barely made the cutoff to get inside for a seat after standing in the rain for an hour. Umbrellas had to be left outside, and they hung from the branches of a tree. The rally was delayed for 15 minutes when Bernie heard there were a couple hundred people outside who had waited in the rain, only to miss the cut, and he went out to speak to them before heading back in.

That does my heart good. Bernie doesn’t just talk the talk. He is inclusive and has a vision to lead us out of whatever it is we find ourselves drowning in. Bernie’s got a great grass-roots network going. I’m going to a thing on Saturday.

I think you’re dreaming. I would vote for Bernie versus Trump if he wins the nomination, but he’s not my first choice to get the nomination. Sorry, I’m just not feeling the Bern!

He’s the strongest candidate and he has a well-developed grass roots support system. I’m glad you will vote for him if he gets the nomination, but you know he was robbed of the nomination in 2016 by Hillary. If the DNC cheats him out of it again, there’s going to be problems. The strongest candidate to beat Maga Man is the one to vote for.

I liked him initially and then not so much, but I will vote for whichever Democrat wins the primary NO EXCEPTIONS. I want every Democrat to say this or pffft on them.
