50 Word Thursday — Let the wild rumpus start

“Let the wild rumpus start.”
— Maurice Sendak, from Where the Wild Things Are

job’s a drag, need some free
dropped a tab of ecstasy
first i heard it in the thump
then i saw it in his scrump
primal bongos crazy beat
‘bido rising feel the heat
bodies writhing in the night
fill the dance floor rave delight

Please note: this is 100% fiction.  I have never taken ecstasy, and I’m not a proponent of illegal drug use.
