Morgan Dragonwillow is the host of OctPoWriMo. Morgan says:
What is silence for you? Is it ever silent where you live? Is it a comfortable silence or is the silence screaming? Have you been silenced? Answer some of these questions or all of them.
Word Prompts:
Echo
Chaos
Noise
Gag
Muzzle
With the diamante form, midway it switches to either the antonym of the first noun or a synonym of it. I’ve always gone the antonym route with them before, but this time I’m trying a synonym.

I like the build up of tension and then the release. Silence contains both. (K)

Thanks, Kerfe. I think I like using the synonyms at least as well as the antonyms.

This conveyed a lot! Silence can be a curse or a gift and you expressed it beautifully.

I love the meditative quality in that image. Beautiful. So I was very well prepared by the growth in this poem that led from silence to acceptance to quiet.

I love the journey this shares.
On a side note – I’m not sure what is going on with WordPress. Each time I come to your page, I have to hit “Follow” again. It’s happened on a few other pages as well. I’m trying, lol. Love your work.

Thank you Michele and thank you for the heads-up on Word Press technical issues. Always seems to be one thing or another that is amiss with it.
