#FFFC 45 — Tardisian Travails

The Tardis landed with a resounding thud. Dr. Who was confident he’d find the right materials to repair his magic screwdriver, which controlled the Tardis, wherever and whenever they had landed.

The most curious thing about this warp was K9 turning into a man. It was the first time anything like this had happened. He was sure that the report to Gallifrey Admin on this one would be lengthy.

The Tardis door opened and the two men saw they were in the middle of a desert on what appeared to be Earth, as judged by Sol in the sky. There was what shimmered like water off in the distance, which was the only sign of life other than themselves, due east. They started walking.

After three hours of walking, K9 uttered his first human words ever, “My dogs are tired.”

Welcome to “Fandango’s Flash Fiction Challenge.” Each week I will be posting a photo I grab off the internet and challenge bloggers to write a relatively short flash fiction piece inspired by the photo. While there are no definitive style or word limits, I suggest trying to keep your posts to under 300 words.

You didn’t care for Romana? I started watching Dr. Who after Sarah Jane, so never “bonded” with her. I liked Leela and hated it when Romana came on the scene, but Romana grew on me.

There were very few I didn’t like. Sarah Jane was the girl next door type and being young I really liked her.
Goodness… Romana is who Tom Baker married in real life…well the actress…

I just remember Adric talking about the companions.
