Nature’s Intuition
Seedy winter light is here,
A tendril of Spring’s seasoned secret.
Quiet colors lonely brown lichen.
Cold blue frost murmurs how long;
Bee breeze listens and asks when
Nature’s intuition will give bright hymns
Of daffodil and crocus.
Grace is today’s host of dVerse’ Open Link Night. I used The Oracle for this one.

Beautiful image and a lovely poem

I like ‘bee breeze’.
Funny you say you used the Oracle. I had bees in mine too.

Thank you. I think the Oracle likes to recycle words. They had a similar poem I wrote awhile back with some (all?) of the same words in it:

Lichen are never too loud, but at this time of year they get lonely for color. Thank you very much, Sanaa.

I’m not familiar with the Oracle, but I liked the poem. It had good energy, rife with gestation and promises of Spring.

the Oracle is just another name for magnetic poetry. Sounds more mystical and you can say “something” is at work in the random words you are given Thank you, Glenn, glad you liked the poem.

So many good lines, imagery, but I especially liked the description of winter’s light as ‘seedy’. Very nice. And the answer is, soon.

A welcome breath of spring, Lisa! Although it’s a grey start this morning, our garden is blooming with a mix of muted and bright yellows, a splash of purple here and there, and tender greens of buds.
