The world’s walking on a wire
Life juggling exploding balls
Each hoping nobody falls
Yet some will soon sing with the choir.
Beneath us all there’s a fire
Be it hell or hell on earth
That has been played with since birth
Soaring death rate shows it’s dire.
Shall we get out of this mire?
Or portend of things to come?
Is our time in Eden done?
Let faith be shored up! Don’t tire!

Sarah Weejars is the host of Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie’s Saturday Mix. Sarah says:
‘Rhyme Time’ focuses on the use of rhyme to build your writing piece. You will be given six rhyming words* and need to use all of them (but not limited to these) in your response, which should be a poetry form of your choice.
*Homophones can be used as alternatives to the challenge words.
Our rhyming words this week are:
- wire
- dire
- fire
- mire
- tyre (or tire)
- quire (or choir)
Today’s offering is a quatrain form poem.

Great poem Li

Thank you, Kerfe. I looked for a picture on the net and didn’t find what I wanted so I made one.
