Muse and Angel Triolet
When wings of muse and angel weave
with heaven’s breeze a spirit chimes
rose-scented wafts, immersed relief
When wings of muse and angel weave
They somersault and skirt the trees
They flutter soft with dreams and rhymes
When wings of muse and angel weave
with heaven’s breeze a spirit chimes
Paul at Paul’s Poetry Playground shared several triolet form poems and gave some good tips on writing them.
Also sharing this on earthweal‘s Open Link Weekend.

A stunning triolet, Lisa! I love the movement of the muse and angel wings, and the echoing of the spirit chiming in the repeated line.

So glad you liked it, Kim. When I said last week that you inspired the triolet I wrote, this is the one I was talking about.
