Even though he sang this back in 2018, it is as pertinent today as it was then.
Taotalk is a forum for the discussion of both the academic and pragmatic aspects of dao and Daoism, with participants expressing themselves on Daoist writings and pragmatics from their unique perspectives. It serves as a community for Daoists, and those interested in Daoism, to gather and talk dao.
This is hilarious and unfortunately very true. Bob Dylan is my favorite and I always appreciate a good parody.

It’s part parody and part serious towards the end. Speaking of parodies have you ever seen Weird Al’s parody of a Doors song? I can’t remember the name of the Doors song but the name of the parody is Craigslist. I got a big chuckle out of it.

That’s actually a really cool parody and not just because I love the Doors. Turns out that Ray Manzarek, the keyboardist from the Doors, played keyboard for Weird Al. Also, the song does not take directly from any single Doors tune, but instead transposes bits from various songs (Soul Kitchen, When the Music’s Over, Twentieth Century Fox, Roadhouse Blues, The End, and Light My Fire).

Wow! Thank you for the extra info. No wonder I didn’t know the name of the song he was parodying. lol. So cool that Ray Manzarek the original Doors keyboardist played on it. It’s a good’n!

I was trying to figure out which song it was but couldn’t quite pinpoint it, so I looked it up. Now I realize why. Pretty genius really

He does a good job….I’ve liked his Neil Young, Springsteen, and Morrison. I liked him impressions better than his interviewing but he is entertaining.

Same here. He’s a goofball. I miss Jon Stewart. He was on Colbert a couple of days ago (via phone).

Stewart is a good interviewer I will say… He learned something that new ones haven’t learned…listen to what your guest says and don’t talk over them.

He’s not a great interviewer. He’s painfully awkward

Put down your phones…will that ever happen. I still have friends whose adult children refuse to vote.
I’m not optimistic that the majority will prevail. Once again. (K)

The system has been rigged every which-way to keep monsters at the helm. I am very hopeful for today, despite it.
