Once upon a time there was a Scottish boy who bounced around with his folks, an English boy abandoned by his teenage mother, and a London boy who started out by banging on noisy pieces of war rubble after his dad was blown up.
The rough-hewn lads were looked at as freak losers by many. Outcast, reject, and orphan, they knew they didn’t fit in. Only later they’d understand why that’s ok.
The forces of the universe often converge in such a way that there is no ignoring the hand of a deity. Like in 1966. They called themselves Cream.

Interesting brief bio. All I know about Cream is Eric Clapton was a member, and my parents liked them or at least him. It seems people who overcome such adversity can go on the achieve great things.

I bought some headphones a month or so ago, and oh what a difference in the quality of the sound with them. I love this group! Ginger was a mean old man and you’re right nobody to tangle with as a young man.

A nice reminder of humble beginnings. It’s unfortunate that some of Mr. Clapton’s opinions and behaviour have somewhat tainted his great music for me.

What opinions and behavior? I know he did a lot of drugs/alcohol over the years and maybe some domestic violence. Is there more to know?
